My 21ST Celebration!!!

So at the beginning of June I turned the big 21!! My family and I had arranged a big party to celebrate which meant I needed a really beautiful dress (obviously!!) You see I find it hard to find a dress that I really like and which suits me. So I went searching everywhere and I mean everywhere! I even went on a special trip to London with my sister, however I didnt find anything there but my sis came back with a beautiful vibrant orange dress from Topshop. Finally I found the one on ASOS, and it fitted perfectly.
Above is my final party outfit, from the front it looks pretty simple but I loved the highwaisted floaty skirt and high neckline. My shoes I also loved they are beautiful but killer shoes, my poor feet by the end of the night!

The back of the dress was what sold it for me, it had a detailed back which isnt expected from the front....
Heres some of the beautiful dress which were worn to my birthday...

A brilliant evening with lots of lovely family and friends celebrating together :) what more can you ask for!! <3

Final Major Project_Photography & Styling!

What a hectic couple of months!! sorry for the lack of posts however now things have calmed down I can finally get back into it :D
I have finallyy finished Uni (yippeee) and thought I would start this post with a few images from my major project. The outcome was a street style magazine which held street style images (ironically) and fashion editorials. I wanted to create a fun and creative style for the editorials, which really focused on the items of clothing worn on the model. The multicoloured backgrounds bring the fun into the picture and is what I think makes it unique.

Giorgio Armani_Milan Fashion Week A/W 11/12

Giorgio Armani's a/w 2011/12 collection was one of my favourite out of all the Milan catwalk collections. It held a range of beautiful delicate dresses, with extraordinarily beautiful neck pieces attached. The soft pinks and textures fabrics brought grace to the runway.
...and for me it delivering the wow factor.

Mary Katrantzou's collection this season is one of my favourites out of all of London Fashion Week. The prints are stunning, using beautiful colours and patterns, as well as gorgeous shaped dresses with very feminine silhouettes.

PAPERSELF_Eyelashes

At the London Fashion Week exhibitions there were many amazing stands, but one which stood out to me was the Paperself - fashion eyelashes exhibition, the eyelashes blend an element of traditional culture with contemporary design, which was like nothing else there. It was amazingly creative with delicately cut out shapes of horses, flowers and butterfly's.
Each eyelash infused with symbolic meaning rooted in Chinese culture:

Horses: symbolic of success
Peony: for happiness and good fortune
Peach blossom: a symbol of love and romance
Peacock: auspicious and lucky days
Butterfly: free, beautiful and sensitive
Clown: bring the whole happiness

I found it fascinating how detailed these small little lashes were, I enjoyed the range, so thought I would give you a sneaky peek too...

With the eyelashes ranging from £10-12.50, they will finish off any outfit perfectly and would defiantly create the wow factor!!

Thanks Mudpie for the opportunity <3
