PAPERSELF_Eyelashes

At the London Fashion Week exhibitions there were many amazing stands, but one which stood out to me was the Paperself - fashion eyelashes exhibition, the eyelashes blend an element of traditional culture with contemporary design, which was like nothing else there. It was amazingly creative with delicately cut out shapes of horses, flowers and butterfly's.
Each eyelash infused with symbolic meaning rooted in Chinese culture:

Horses: symbolic of success
Peony: for happiness and good fortune
Peach blossom: a symbol of love and romance
Peacock: auspicious and lucky days
Butterfly: free, beautiful and sensitive
Clown: bring the whole happiness

I found it fascinating how detailed these small little lashes were, I enjoyed the range, so thought I would give you a sneaky peek too...

With the eyelashes ranging from £10-12.50, they will finish off any outfit perfectly and would defiantly create the wow factor!!

I loved every minute of London Fashion Week hanging out in the press lounge, meeting other bloggers, drinking lotsss of 'free' vitamin water, meeting the lovely Brix Smith, running after people asking to take their pictures, as well as getting some great street style images to help me out with my final major project :D
Thanks Mudpie for the opportunity <3

London Fashion Week xx

So tomorrow kick starts London Fashion Week, a time were you can feel all fashion lovers get excited!! ...and I am one of those lucky fashion lovers who gets to go!! :D

Although I do have to say I am not quite as lucky as to watch the shows, however I have a press pass to get within the grounds of Somerset House, to view the exhibitions and take some street photography, so i'm happy!

I managed to get the press pass through my current work experience with Mudpie a trend forecasting company. I have been working with Mudpie one day a week since October now, and really love it. Fashion forecasting is my fashion calling I think!!.... Mudpie have given me this pass to help me out with my final major project at university, which I am creating a trend styling magazine based on the trends which you see on the streets.
So these street images which I am taking tomorrow around the Somerset grounds will be hugely important to my project and I cant thank Mudpie enough! >
I still cant believe that I am going to London Fashion Week, I think the one thing I am most worried about it what I am going to wear... what can I say i'm a fashion student!!
No need to fear i'll have a wardrobe update for you tomorrow as well as my LFW photosnaps!
o.m.g .... what if I meet someone famous :-O !!
